Welcome to the USWTAF home page. You do not have to log in to explore this site. Members may log in to view the contact information that other members have chosen to make available. What's the USWTAF? It's a casual group of current and former whitewater slalom and wildwater racers, coaches, volunteers, parents, and other interested parties. Our main goal is to facilitate communication among our constituency. Our main activity, so far, is to hold reunions. There have been three so far: the first at the 2006 Slalom Nationals at the US National Whitewater Center near Charlotte, NC; the second at the 2007 Slalom Nationals at the Adventure Sports Center International near McHenry, MD; the third at the 2007 Wildwater Nationals on the Deerfileld River in MA. We may try to get more organized, at which point we could borrow Davey and Jennifer Hearn's slogan: Preserving the past, energizing the present, and nurturing the future of whitewater canoe and kayak racing. But for the moment let's just spread the word.
